This strawberry dark red fruit is large and firm with an excellent flavor. It has a good shelf life and is widely popular for its delicious taste. Delicious to eat out of hand but also great for jams and jellies. They are also tolerant of rain.

Camino Real
It is best to set plants in early spring. Select well drained soil that is as free of grass and weed seed as possible. Plant in a 6-8 inch deep furrow so that the crowns are above the soil. All roots need to be below ground for better growing success. Set plants in the row 12-18 inches apart. Suggested row width is 36 to 48 inches. Keep clean of grass and weeds. Plants should be set properly and watered.
